Syan’s platform will be used to produce an electrochemical lab-on-a-chip solution (biosensor) for next generation mobile analytics applications such as point-of-care diagnostics, water and food analysis, and chemical and biological agent detection.

Syan Biosciences will offer a multiplexed platform for the detection of proteins.  This platform has built-in flexibility to accept a number of different substrates, allowing various applications. The product uses a simple and generic biomolecule assembly approach which is anticipated to be applicable for future applications in complex biomolecular or biosensing analyses as well as in sophisticated microfluidic networks as anticipated for future lab-on-a-chip devices. This platform will be used initially to develop an immunosensor that will facilitate immunoassay detection of bacteria, viruses and cancers markers based on antigen-antibody reactions.
